Operations & Coordination Support

Position Summary 

This will be an exciting and practical opportunity for a multidisciplinary and diligent individual who possesses a keen sense of numbers, and is ready to dive right into an ongoing process. On top of providing financial and budget-related task support, you will co-deliver key on-the-ground learning experiences with diverse project teams located across Sabah and convey these experiences as compelling data. You will work cross-functionally with a team of administrators, bookkeepers, creatives and community organisers to develop engaging materials, alongside effective coordination. This role will require you to be comfortable with Microsoft Office Excel, be adept in English speaking and writing, and fluency in Malay.

You Have

  • Familiarity with Sabah, along with a curious and eager-to-learn mindset
  • The ability to  work across multiple finance and administrative protocols, and working environments conducive to diverse project teams 
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree preferred; with experience in Mathematics-related subjects 
  • Mastery in software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Presentation), and Google Sheets
  • Excellent written and spoken command of the English language (mastery of the language is a must, fluency in Malay is a plus)
  • Strong networking & interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in translating intricate concepts, innovative ideas, and personal experiences into impactful and structured data reporting
  • A valid driving licence
  • Basic bookkeeping skills – a plus
  • Research and copywriting skills – a plus
  • Visual design skills including knowledge of Canva and Adobe Photoshop – a plus
  • Experience in planning and facilitating training workshops – a plus
