This Valley Immersion takes us to the highlands triangle around Long Pa’sia where Sabah meets Sarawak and Kalimantan across the territory of the Lundayeh. Immersing ourselves in the landscapes and lives of the community, and their organisation FORMADAT (Forum Masyarakat Adat Dataran Tinggi Borneo), we seek what it means to steward and govern a liminal zone where borders are lived not as rigid lines, but as fluid spaces. Then, through the lens of imagining the idea of the Living Borneo Institute as a grounded nexus for learning and transformation, locally and regionally, we will explore regeneration through vitality of land, culture, and relationships.
